Job Title

A regional contract manager is required to lead commercial operations and risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Review and redline customer terms and conditions and other commercial documents.
  • Ensure an acceptable risk profile for the organization given the specific scope of supply and deal dynamics.
  • Lead and finalize contractual schemes and industrial models while engaging with stakeholders.
  • Identify and register identified risks in a risk assessment matrix tool and Salesforce, build and operate risk review sessions to drive early engagement and strategy development.
  • Own the commercial operations and respective risk process, including the use of tools and governance instances.
  • Draft, discuss and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, consortium agreements and declaration forms with potential partners.
  • Develop commercial expertise across regional teams to ensure implementation of grid risk policies and standardized best practices.
  • Support inquiry-to-order teams by applying KPIs and challenging risk/opportunity assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with region sales teams in strategy development to create winning proposals and meet or exceed the region's plan for orders and financial KPIs.
  • Support change management to improve commercial processes, reduce cycle times and costs and improve service quality.
  • Support large and complex projects from inquiry to close-out.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal, engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, sales, risk mitigation, tendering, bid management and/or project management role.
  • Fluent in English; French and Arabic languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work remotely from the same region.
