RN Supervisor

The Weekend RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing care services during off-hour shifts. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess patient status, identifying any unstable medical conditions and taking prompt action.
Direct the delivery of competent age-specific nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Validate that care is consistent with the medical regimen, rehabilitation team goals, and nursing plan of care.
Maintain a safe physical environment conducive to healthcare service delivery.
Conduct regular unit rounds to assess patient care needs.
Foster a patient-focused care environment aligned with Good Shepherd's philosophy and Patients' Bill of Rights.
Represent Good Shepherd services, philosophy, and quality to external customers.
Supervise respiratory staff and assign work as needed during off-hour shifts.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
At least 2-4 years of experience as a rehab staff nurse is required.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
A Registered Nurse license is required.
BLS/CPR certification is required.
