Corporate Legal Professional

We are seeking a dedicated legal professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders across different departments, providing legal support and reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel.

The successful candidate will play a key generalist role in providing legal support across all areas of the company, including contract review and drafting, preparation of corporate documents, and delivering legal advice on a range of matters such as compliance, labor, civil, corporate, tax, LGPD and regulatory issues.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of corporate legal frameworks, enhance knowledge through implementation of different projects covering different areas of law, and by providing exposure to international multicultural stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Legal Advice, Document Drafting and Reviewing

• Prepare first review, draft and assist legal team to negotiate documents of different areas and variable complexity ensuring compliance with legal framework, identifying potential risks and providing acceptable mitigation suggestions in a timely manner.
• Support the legal team by analyzing, organizing and aligning comments and changes in contracts reviews with external counsels, key internal and international stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research on relevant regulations and case law to support decision making, ensuring contract terms and corporate alignment with latest legal developments and internal policies.
• Assist legal team in providing tailored legal advice across multiple areas such as corporate governance, labor, tax, civil law and regulatory, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare first draft, review and coordinate the execution of corporate resolutions, ensuring that all legally and governance-required elements are accurately reflected in the minutes, while also managing submissions to the Central Bank and registrations with the Board of Trade.

General Matters

• Enhancing internal legal processes, developing standardized templates, performing background checks of services providers, clients and candidates, and implementing best practices to increase efficiency in both legal analysis and compliance.
• Coordinating cross-functional legal initiatives, preparing materials, improving reporting structures and weekly routines with stakeholders;
• Collaborate closely with the Governance team by providing legal guidance, reviewing policies and documents to ensure alignment with legal requirements and compliance standards.
• Coordinate requests for documents to international stakeholders, receipt, translation, notarization and registry with local external counsels and paralegals.
• Support the legal team by establishing routines to monitor legal updates, sharing relevant information with key stakeholders, assessing potential impacts on the company's business, and proposing and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Support knowledge sharing and internal development initiatives through the preparation of materials or participation in training activities

Key Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of post-qualification experience as a Lawyer (preferably some experience working as in-house counsel), desirable experience with corporate, civil, labor and regulatory law;
• Bachelor's degree in law;
• Duly registered with the Brazilian Bar Association;
• Strong ability to manage priorities;
• Good organization and proactive profile;
• Clear and objective communication skills for interaction with diverse internal and external stakeholders;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken);
• Excellent legal technical skills and strong attention to detail;
• Solid interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
