Strategic Policy Leader Americas

Cultivate a sustainable future by driving environmental impact through policy initiatives in the Americas region.

This pivotal role shapes and executes CDP's policy agenda across the continent, intersecting public policy, corporate sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

The successful candidate will be an authoritative voice on strategic policy matters, providing expert guidance to CDP's Leadership. They will foster key partnerships with policymakers and stakeholders at both country and regional levels, advocating for critical policy changes that promote environmental accountability and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the strategic vision for CDP's policy initiatives in the Americas region.
  • Formulate and communicate CDP's positions on crucial policy issues and significant regulations affecting corporate environmental accountability and transparency.
  • Provide consultative advice to CDP's Leadership on strategic policy matters.
  • Establish and manage high-performing teams in priority jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate comprehensive policy engagement efforts across priority jurisdictions and at the regional level.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building among CDP staff regarding policy developments, regulatory trends, and advocacy techniques in the region.

Additional Information:
