Procurement Specialist for Indirect Materials

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist for Indirect Materials to join our team at Goodyear. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet the needs of our Americana plant. You will work closely with the Procurement Operations Lead to identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure best possible prices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect materials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other database programs
