Job Title: Vulnerability Management Intern

The role of this internship is to provide support to our cybersecurity team in managing and mitigating security vulnerabilities across Wabtec's products and infrastructure. As a member of this dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to protect and improve our organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Vulnerability Management Program by participating in key activities such as vulnerability identification, triage, remediation, and reporting.
- Interact with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to promote a culture of security first.
- Participate in the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle (Discovery, Triage, Disposition, and Monitoring) for Wabtec's products.
- Contribute to processes for disclosure and handling of vulnerabilities.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of vulnerability data from sources like penetration testing, PSIRTs, and scanning tools.
- Support improvements in automation and efficiency of the vulnerability management workflow.
- Assist in tracking and reporting KPIs and metrics for the program.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to drive remediation efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
