Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a dynamic role that will support the development of long-term strategic planning for a global initiative focused on restoring degraded landscapes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, with experience in coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor project performance against program objectives and contractual requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global network of practitioners and contribute to the growth and development of a key solution to combating climate change and restoring native vegetation and biodiversity.

Key Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on sustainable development and conservation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor project performance against program objectives and contractual requirements
What You Will Do
  1. Support the development of long-term strategic planning for the global initiative
  2. Collaborate with project staff to ensure coordination, develop project workplans, support implementation, set timelines for status reports, and more
  3. Draft semi-annual progress reports and other materials for review by GRI Management and/or final distribution to donors
  4. Monitor project performance against program objectives and/or contractual requirements
  5. Work with the ANR Alliance co-chairs to build the profile of and grow the global network across Latin America, Africa and Asia-Pacific
  6. Develop an annual workplan of in-person events/workshops for 20x20 and ANR Alliance to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among members
