About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at General Motors. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our automotive products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for automotive products, including infotainment, telematics, and electronic modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring harnesses, and software.
• Conduct analysis and testing to ensure that electrical systems meet performance and safety requirements.
• Work with suppliers to ensure that electrical components meet GM's quality and performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic or software or mechatronics automotive product engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including infotainment, telematics, and electronic modules.
• Experience with CAD software, such as CATIA or SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering field.
• Experience with GM's component specification and release process.
• Knowledge of software and CAN communication.
• Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference and respective issues resolutions.
• DFSS Green or Black Belt certification.
