Job Summary:

Offshore Rig Maintenance and Support Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled individual with experience working on offshore rigs to perform maintenance and support tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of oilfield tools and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Oiltools equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
    • Assist with the installation of new equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any defects or issues to the relevant personnel.
    • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and meets company quality control procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including hours worked and materials used.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
  • Teamwork and Communication:
    • Work effectively with other teams, including rig crew, maintenance staff, and management to achieve project goals.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience working on offshore rigs.
    • Proven track record of successfully completing maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Skill Requirements:
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
