We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team. As a key member of our seismic processing team, you will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of geophysical data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze seismic data, including testing, quality control, and production work.
- Define, build, and submit test jobs, interpret test results, and provide recommendations on parameters.
- Validate the accuracy and efficiency of all testing and production job sequences.
- Ensure timely delivery of processed data to customers.
- Interface with customers to advise on processing parameters.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in seismic processing, including testing, quality control, and production work.
- Experience in pre-salt basin and/or similar geology.
- Good communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- A BSc/MSc in Geophysics or a related field with geophysical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
We also prefer candidates with:
- Experience with OBN processing, including pre-processing and velocity model building.
- Petrel and Omega software experience.
Technical Requirements:
You will need to have experience with:
- OBN processing, including pre-processing and velocity model building.
- Pre-salt basin and/or similar geology.
