
Technical Support Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage our Support teams, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and technical excellence. As a Support Engineering Manager, you will oversee the performance of our support staff, prioritize customer needs, and drive continuous process improvement.
The role involves leading a professional support team, managing skills development, and operational control. You will be responsible for responding to customer cases within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and collaborating with leadership on growth and transformation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Extensive CLI experience with Linux (Support, Development, Implementation)
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong customer focus
- Fluency in English and preferably another language
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Linux Desktop, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization
- Contribution to Open Source projects
- Software development experience
- Experience in support organizations
- Hands-on experience with Canonical's products
- A distributed work environment with biannual in-person team sprints
- A personal learning and development budget of USD 2000 annually
