We are seeking an experienced Public Policy Professional to join our team.

The Role
  • Develop and implement public policy strategies to advance business objectives in the Brazilian Congress;
  • Monitor and analyze political and legislative developments affecting the GameTech industry;
  • Engage with lawmakers and staff to advocate for policy positions and interests;
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Product, to align business objectives with public policy goals;
  • Build and maintain strong networks with relevant stakeholders, including lawmakers, policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy groups;
  • Provide strategic advice to leadership on emerging policy issues and their potential impact on operations and growth;
  • Prepare and deliver written reports, policy briefs, and presentations to effectively communicate complex issues to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Represent the company in industry coalitions, conferences, and public policy forums;
  • Promote a positive reputation through proactive engagement with stakeholders and thought leadership;
  • Lead crisis management efforts from a public policy perspective, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or related fields, preferably within the technology and/or gaming sectors;
  • Outstanding judgment, persuasive and lobbying skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often uncertain environment;
  • Strong understanding of legislative processes in Brazil, with established relationships within the public policy community;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential networks;
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues, analyze policy trends, and provide strategic guidance to leadership;
  • Deep experience working across multiple functions, influencing, and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs and initiatives; history of successful cross-functional team and leadership collaboration;
  • Experience working in a multinational environment, with a collaborative and results-driven approach;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English language, both spoken and written;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
