The Overnight Care Giver role involves providing companionship and support to seniors in their homes.
Home Instead offers a variety of non-medical services that enable seniors to remain independent and maintain their dignity.
Caregivers provide light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, assistance with grooming and bathing, and help with toileting and incontinence issues.
Additionally, caregivers may assist clients with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
No previous experience is necessary, as skills training is provided by Home Instead.
Experienced caregivers are offered competitive salaries and benefits.
Responsibilities and Skills- Provide companionship and conversation to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Remind clients of medication and appointments
- Assist with grooming and bathing
- Help with toileting and incontinence issues
- Support clients with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
- Treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Undergo a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
- Hold a valid driver's license and auto insurance
