The role of Patient Services Representative Apprentice plays a vital part in supporting the Faculty Practice Plan clinics at Howard University.
This entry-level position is designed for graduates of Youth Apprenticeship Program and provides hands-on experience in patient services, healthcare administration and interaction with patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. Patient care skills are essential to provide excellent patient experiences.
To succeed in this position, applicants should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team and maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proactive and adaptable to change.
In addition to providing exceptional patient service, the Patient Services Representative Apprentice will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing phone calls and emails, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
