Cloud Support Engineer

Ubiminds is a GPTW-certified, people-first company that partners with American software product companies to scale their development footprint. We offer a unique combination of staff augmentation and employer-of-record services, connecting top Brazilian talent with LATAM strategy.

Our client is a SaaS platform at the intersection of next-generation cloud cost management and FinOps. They ingest billing and usage data from all cloud, SaaS, and PaaS providers, organizing it in real-time according to customers' business structures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Become a product expert in connecting cost sources and Kubernetes, leveraging this knowledge to help customers, improve documentation, and enhance the product experience.
  3. Help customers build scripts and automation tools that leverage APIs.
  4. Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously learning and evolving in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to improve product functionality and user experience.
  7. Create internal knowledge bases and training on common technical questions and issues.
Requirements
  • Advanced English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong experience as a technical support engineer, professional services engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting a B2B SaaS application.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, with hands-on experience in identity and access management. GCP and Azure proficiency is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and managing applications with Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, and AKS.
  • Proficiency in Python or alternative scripting/programming languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A continuous learner and critical thinker, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
