Medical Assistant Job Description">

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the healthcare team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting providers with examinations and procedures;
  • Collecting medical information from patients and updating their records;
  • Cleaning and preparing exam rooms for patient visits;
  • Ordering medical supplies and inventory management;
  • Providing administrative support to the healthcare team;

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Completion of a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES);
  • One year of experience as a medical assistant or related field;
  • CPR certification;
  • Electronic medical record (EMR) experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred. A Phlebotomy Technician Certification is also highly desirable.

Other Information

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The typical pay range for this role is $18.50-$35.29 per hour.
