About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to join our Model Risk Management team and assume a pivotal AI Risk Management role. This key position will accelerate our AI-First strategy by ensuring the effective implementation of an AI Risk Management framework and Global AI Policy. You will play a crucial part in evolving our multidisciplinary AI Governance Working Group (AIGWG) and fostering integrated risk management across various domains.

This is an opportunity to lead accountability for AI Governance, drive innovation, and expand the reach of AI Risk Management within an organization committed to embedding responsible AI practices.

  • Risk Strategy & Governance: Drive the implementation and evolution of our Global AI Policy, ensuring an interdisciplinary approach to AI risks and integrating existing risk governances.
  • Cross-Coordination: Act as a central point for AI risk management, fostering seamless collaboration and communication between risk and business teams.
  • ERM Integration: Ensure AI risks are appropriately managed within our Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Audit & Mitigation: Partner with teams to identify, assess, and manage existing and emerging risks from AI.
  • Controls & Processes: Diagnose process gaps and propose specific improvements for AI adoption.
  • Responsible AI: Establish quality standards for AI models, enhance explainability efforts, and contribute to the development of a comprehensive Responsible AI Framework.
  • Better Practices & Compliance: Keep up to date with industry best practices, new trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Resilience: Track AI usage and risks, developing standardized metrics and leadership reporting.

About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in risk management, compliance, and governance. You should have a proven ability to identify, analyze, and assess risks emerging from complex methodologies and technological systems.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and effectively discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, autonomous, and detail-oriented, you will be able to see the big picture and navigate dynamic environments.

Your experience with regulatory requirements related to AI in financial services, machine learning and/or AI models, data governance, data privacy, information security, and IT risk management will be valuable assets.
