Position Summary:

We are excited to offer a pivotal role within the Global Planning and Demand Management team, providing strategic leadership for our product distribution through Equipment Processing Centers (EPCs). This position will play a crucial role in supporting machine distribution by influencing and recommending optimal business decisions, guiding our digital product teams, and collaborating with various departments within the Caterpillar enterprise. You will engage with and present to senior leadership, project teams, and numerous internal stakeholders. Ultimately, the success of project execution and the delivery of all related activities will depend on your leadership.

Lead multiple initiatives to understand, analyze, develop, and propose Strategy & Planning (S&P) solutions as a divisional lead or for a specific business segment.

Guide and mentor project teams in defining and executing projects while supporting strategic objectives. Collaborate with business leaders to advance strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of digital capabilities supporting Equipment Processing Centers: Ensure project delivery across all workstreams, structure and lead teams, manage the overall project timeline, and maintain risk and issue logs while ensuring functional solutions work across the digital product portfolio on GPDM.
  • Lead analysis and solution development for key engagement modules as a divisional lead or for a business segment, handling more complex tasks.
  • Work closely with clients to define business challenges, issues, and planned approaches for engagement components as a divisional lead or for a business segment.
  • Supervise the performance of S&P engagement data collection, research, and reporting activities, coaching junior team members and clients.
  • Provide recommended solutions and collaborate with senior consultants/managers to develop and deliver client presentations as a divisional lead or for a business segment.
  • Manage complex and/or confidential projects or facilitation events requiring a high level of expertise to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee the execution and development of project consultants supporting key strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to utilize a disciplined project management approach, coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.
  • Execute within the Modern Order Management delivery structure and framework to achieve stakeholder alignment through structured gateways.

  • Coach others in maintaining open communication among project managers and interested parties.
  • Oversee reporting requirements and create monitoring and control mechanisms.
  • Plan, estimate, staff, organize, and monitor a set of projects within a program.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Pre-advanced English proficiency
