Senior BackEnd Engineer Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior BackEnd Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical individuals, while also collaborating well within a team and mentoring junior developers.
  • Display a strong commitment to learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a backend developer.
  • Proficient in Typescript, NestJS, and relational and non-relational databases.
  • 2+ years of experience deploying and running code on AWS Lambda, with hands-on experience using DynamoDB and RDS.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and separation of concerns.
  • Emphasizes the importance of testing, automated testing frameworks, and writing unit tests.
  • Can design RESTful APIs, architect software systems (taking into consideration scalability, maintainability, and performance).
  • Familiar with design patterns, microservices, and other software design principles.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices (CI, CD, and deployment pipelines). Utilizes tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for development and deployment.
  • Experience with Python and/or Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
