Essential Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT support capacity (desktop support)
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting both Mac OS and PC hardware
  • Experience with VPN user configuration and issue resolution
  • Knowledge in resolving web conferencing and email-related challenges
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (AD)
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL
  • Experience with AWS VDI setup
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft application suite (Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams), Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11), Active Directory management, Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint management, etc.

Daily Responsibilities

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator (level II) to work remotely. The individual in this role will provide high-quality desktop support and customer service within a medium to large enterprise setting. Responsibilities include addressing approximately 5-8 Active Directory tickets daily, tackling issues related to PC/Windows OS and Apple/Mac OS, troubleshooting VPN configurations, and resolving web conferencing (Teams, Webex, Zoom) and email (Outlook, Gmail) challenges for users. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in supporting both PC and Apple devices, along with a strong focus on customer service.

Compensation Overview

This role offers a competitive pay range based on experience for the duration of the contract-to-hire arrangement.
