Procurement Expert

This role requires a seasoned procurement professional to lead our organization's procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies that drive cost savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  2. Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract management, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  3. Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers through a robust tendering process, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  4. Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to optimize service delivery and negotiate contracts as needed.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  7. Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations to minimize risk.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data.
  9. Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as International Trade, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in comparable logistics projects in Brazil or South America.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, laws, and regulations, with excellent contract negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of international logistics best practices and supply chain management principles.
