Expert Linux System Administrator Needed

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading production and project support for Linux environments.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Leading L2/L3 production and project support for Linux environments
- Managing installations, patching, migrations, and scripting (Shell & Perl)
- Troubleshooting hardware/software issues across Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX
- Optimizing system performance and availability
- C-coaching and mentoring team members
- Working with ITIL-based tools and monitoring systems
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Hands-on experience in Linux and Unix systems
- Deep expertise in filesystem, volume, and storage management
- Strong knowledge of networking, clustering (PCS), and system hardening
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS, backup tools (TSM, VEEAM), and storage suites (EMC, NetApp, Hitachi)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and non-standard hours
- Advanced English language proficiency
Bonus points will be awarded for:
- L-linux certification
- German language skills
- Experience with Veritas Cluster, Apache, DNS, DHCP, LDAP
