Position Summary: The Treasury Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for managing tasks associated with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and liaising with suppliers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and prepare daily transactions for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Evaluate data within the Datasul system in relation to purchasing and sales activities.
- Input necessary information into the banking system.
- Monitor customer payment progress and follow up on collections.
- Process tax payments as directed by the controllership.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Oversee reconciliations related to import activities and intercompany transactions.
- Organize and archive documents pertinent to treasury operations.
- Manage accountability for corporate card usage.
- Identify deposits and execute write-offs as required.
- Assess and approve orders based on established credit limits.
- Calculate applicable interest and penalties.
- Verify tax withholdings on payments and communicate findings to the controllership.
- Negotiate terms for overdue payments.
- Compile reports to track accounts receivable for the Financial Director to support discussions with the commercial team.
- Provide assistance to other departments regarding issues related to bad debts and late payments.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Required Experience:
- Proficient in office software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxation, and accounting principles.
- Ability to read and write in English is preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
