Job Title: Software Platform Engineering Manager

Achieve technical excellence as a leader of our software engineering team.

About the Role:
  • We're seeking an experienced and visionary leader to manage and develop a talented team of engineers.
  • Your role will involve overseeing commercial engagements, ensuring timely delivery on project milestones and participating in complex customer engagements.

With a focus on delivering high-quality solutions, you'll be responsible for implementing disciplined engineering processes, integrating and maintaining platform-oriented software stacks and optimizing Ubuntu for latest hardware platforms.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers in developing software solutions.
  2. Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery on project milestones.
  3. Participate as technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures.
  4. Implement disciplined engineering processes to deliver high-quality solutions.
  5. Integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks.
  6. Optimize Ubuntu for latest hardware platforms.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux and operational systems software.
  • Experience with Debian/Ubuntu or other distro packaging.
  • Experience leading software engineering teams.
  • Professional written and spoken English language skills.
