Senior Database Administrator Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to design and implement robust data solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating disparate data sources.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks. They should also possess strong expertise in designing and implementing data models, as well as leading distributed teams.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
  • Extensive experience in building robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Ability to integrate data from diverse sources using techniques such as API integration or message queuing
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and Data Mesh
  • Proficiency in SQL to perform complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning on cloud-based data storages
