Senior Ruby on Rails Developer Job

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with strong technical expertise in backend development to join our international team.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional software development experience, leadership skills in projects or teams, preferably in e-commerce or digital products, and advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails.

The candidate should also have basic frontend knowledge, hands-on experience is a plus, excellent English proficiency, and residency in Argentina.

Our company uses technologies such as Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, frameworks like Ruby on Rails and React, database management using PostgreSQL, and agile methodology.

As we transition to AWS infrastructure, the position requires full-time work, direct hire on our payroll, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, serving global clients in the edtech/marketplace for children's activities industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Ruby on Rails applications
  • Lead projects and teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and trends in software development
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Leadership experience in projects or teams, preferably in e-commerce or digital products
  • Advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails
  • Basic frontend knowledge; hands-on experience is a plus
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Residency in Argentina
