Expert Technical Accounting Specialist

Caterpillar seeks an experienced accounting professional to provide corporate level support for its Brazil operations.
Your Responsibilities- Collaborate with business partners and leaders from accounting disciplines to analyze business issues and recommend solutions.
- Conduct research on technical accounting topics, propose recommendations and prepare white papers.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
- Support local statutory reporting.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Hold Advanced/Fluent English skills.
- Possess Senior-level experience providing guidance on complex financial matters to business units.
- Experience with external financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC standards.
- Background in integrating acquisitions into reporting processes.
- Ability to train cross-functional teams on financial topics.
- Skilled in technical accounting research and stakeholder consultation.
