Operations Specialist: Supply Chain
The role of Operations Specialist: Supply Chain is pivotal in maintaining the seamless flow of goods and services within an organization. Key responsibilities include receiving, issuing, provisioning, checking, classifying, inventorying, and storing of supplies, equipment, parts, and materials.
Key duties also involve opening, packaging, and sealing of boxes and crates, as well as performing tasks that require physical exertion such as climbing ladders, bending in confined areas, standing for extended periods, and heavy lifting.
Additionally, the Operations Specialist: Supply Chain will be responsible for transporting parts and materials between various locations, fueling assigned vehicles, and operating a variety of equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
They will also have experience working with hand tools, handling hazardous materials, flammable materials, and/or hazardous waste, and possess the necessary knowledge to operate equipment safely.
This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient delivery of goods and services.
