We are seeking a seasoned DevOps expert to lead our cloud-based infrastructure for our electronic health record platform. This high-trust role provides autonomy to own and manage the environment, maintain compliance, improve performance, enhance security, and ensure scalability as we grow.

This individual will bring technical leadership and creativity to identify gaps, streamline processes, and introduce best practices. Ideal for those who thrive in startup settings and enjoy solving problems before they happen.

\Key Responsibilities\
  • \
  • Take full ownership of the AWS environment, ensuring ongoing HIPAA compliance, operational stability, and performance.\
  • Assess existing infrastructure, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes for scalability, cost efficiency, and security.\
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.\
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to align infrastructure with product needs and release cycles.\
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all infrastructure-related initiatives, driving innovation and reliability.\
\Requirements\
  • \
  • Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing AWS environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).\
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code.\
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.\
  • Proven track record of taking ownership in unstructured environments and delivering measurable improvements.\
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead technical decisions.\

  • Experience in healthcare technology or working with EHR/EMR systems.\
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data.\
