Rural Land Reform Expert

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the coordination and execution of a rural land regularization project. The primary focus is on women's rights and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will analyze legal frameworks, develop strategic approaches, and strengthen institutional governance to promote land tenure security and access to public policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of project actions and counterparties in legal analysis of proposals, contracts, and instruments.
- Provide legal support for land and environmental regularization processes, prioritizing women heads of household in rural areas.
- Participate in formulating proposals for legal and institutional guidelines for land governance in Maranhão.
- Develop internal regulations, technical opinions, and legal notes ensuring correct legal framework of project actions.
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies and civil society organizations to ensure legal certainty in strategic processes and decisions.
Requirements:
- Graduation in Law.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Public Management, working in public policy formulation, analysis, or legal advice.
- Proficiency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (level C).
- Brazilian Nationality.
