Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of software developers in shaping the future of Linux.

This challenging role demands a high degree of technical and management skill to redefine the embedded Linux experience with the smallest, most secure and reliable operating system in the IoT market.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a distributed team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and career development.
  • Technical Expertise: Contribute directly to your team's goals by demonstrating sound engineering principles.
  • Solution Delivery: Support the timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations effectively with other engineering teams, senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Agile Development: Promote and advance modern agile software development practices.
  • Culture Alignment: Foster a healthy collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Participate actively in leadership discussions and collaborate with other organizational leaders.
Qualifications

  • Azure Environment: Solid experience working in an agile environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science STEM or related field.
  • Embedded Software: Experience with embedded software.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Golang C/C++ and Shell scripting.
  • Linux Understanding: Strong understanding of Linux preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
