Our Role: As a leading crypto exchange, our mission is to empower people worldwide through secure and reliable access to crypto trading and decentralized applications. We are seeking an experienced general counsel who shares our passion for crypto and is well-versed in financial services law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support virtually all legal coverage areas for Brazil and Argentina, including product development, regulatory matters, contract review, and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with licensing and compliance teams to obtain licenses, communicate with regulators, and manage external counsels.
  • Work closely with business leaders to achieve strategic goals, effectively advise on legal concepts, and provide risk assessment for key projects.

Requirements:

  • Licentiate degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Brazil.
  • 7+ years of experience at top-tier law firms or in-house legal teams, preferably in the financial services or crypto industry.
  • Proven knowledge of regulation from the Central Bank of Brazil.
