The Brazil Consulting Practice within Visa (VCA – Visa Consulting and Analytics) is dedicated to delivering consulting and solution services for Visa's premier issuers, merchants, and acquirers in Brazil.

The VCA team offers a wide array of consulting services designed to tackle unique challenges in areas such as enhancing profitability, driving strategic growth, optimizing customer experience, and improving operational efficiency.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to enhance our consulting practice in Brazil. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution and implementation of projects and solutions with Brazilian Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks. This individual will spearhead initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable and profitable growth, ensuring that Visa remains the preferred brand and a distinctive business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection and analysis of data, assisting in the development and testing of hypotheses to resolve client business challenges.
  • Generate insights, analyses, and recommendations to enhance client performance, stimulate growth, deepen understanding of client issues, and provide strategic direction for client priorities across various sectors.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) to execute projects and deliver value to clients.
  • Cultivate a sustainable relationship with Clients (Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks) through an ethical and empathetic approach, aiming to provide optimal support.
  • Contribute to scaling the function by developing frameworks, methodologies, processes, and necessary operational enablers to drive business growth and efficiencies for our partners.
  • Willingness to travel as required across the covered markets and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or product management.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical, structured thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in coaching and managing various consulting engagements that involve structured problem-solving and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Experience in the banking or credit card sector is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
