We are seeking a highly skilled business intelligence developer to create actionable insights for our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards that provide data-driven insights.
- Create visualizations, interactive reports, and data models that meet the business intelligence requirements.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and accuracy in reports.
- Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and dataflows.
- Create and optimize data models that support business intelligence requirements.
- Design and implement calculated columns, measures, and DAX queries.
- Evaluate data models for scalability and performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and dashboards.
- Document BI solutions, including data models, DAX queries, and report specifications.
- Stay current with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Enhance existing Power BI solutions to improve performance and user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Power BI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is an added bonus.
