As a Clinical Data Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting clinical data management activities. Your primary responsibility is to code clinical data accurately and efficiently, utilizing industry-wide standards such as MedDRA and WHO Drug.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate coding of medical terms and medications
- Coordinate the assignment of appropriate dictionaries for meeting study requirements
- Develop and maintain coding guidelines
- Review and provide input to the Coding section of the Data Management Plan
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field, with 2 years of relevant experience. They must also possess thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Dictionaries used for coding.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work flexibly on simultaneous projects and manage time effectively.
The successful candidate will be working in a global team environment and must demonstrate good knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and applicable regulations/guidelines.
