They will also possess exceptional negotiation skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the gaming and crypto industries.

As a key member of our executive team, you will provide senior legal guidance, support business growth, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will build and mentor an in-house legal team, develop policies and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior legal counsel on complex matters, including corporate governance, licensing, and contract negotiations\
  • Build and lead an in-house legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration\
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and achieve strategic goals\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a strong risk management framework\
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and minimize risks\
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to drive business outcomes\
  • Support business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion\
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO or Board of Directors\

Requirements

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Legal Officer who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent\
  • Active legal license\
  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a focus on international licensing and contracts\
  • Proven track record of success in leading in-house legal teams and driving business growth\
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills\
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines\
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)\
  • Experience in the gaming and crypto industries is highly desirable\
  • Knowledge of Brazilian corporate law is a significant advantage\
