Our company is looking for a skilled Junior Software Developer to join our team in the development of cutting-edge digital twin technology. As a key member of our group, you will work closely with engineers to build and maintain simulation models for various systems and processes within container terminals and other facilities.

  • We are seeking someone with expertise in C++ programming language to develop and maintain applications in our platform. The ideal candidate should have experience with unit and integration testing, agile development methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • You will be responsible for delivering FlexTerm solutions to clients worldwide by developing simulation, emulation, and digital twin models using our platform. This includes modeling real-world equipment and devices, writing behavior logic in Lua, defining and exporting metrics, generating real-time BI dashboards, running, debugging, and validating models.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to deploy and integrate the FlexTerm solution with other systems into the client's IT environment, as well as documenting modeling assumptions, process flows, results, and issuing reports.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A strong background in computer science or related field, along with experience in software development life cycle and port and container terminal operations, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  1. Craft highly effective code to develop and maintain applications in our platform.
  2. Write unit and integration tests for new and existing functionality.
  3. Excel with agile development methodologies.
  4. Write technical documentation in our team's wiki site.
  5. Deliver FlexTerm solutions to clients worldwide.
  6. Develop simulation, emulation, and digital twin models using our platform.
  7. Deploy and integrate the FlexTerm solution with other systems into the client's IT environment.
  8. Documenting modeling assumptions, process flows, results, and issuing reports.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related discipline.
  • Proven education or experience in computer programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Fluent in a C-like programming language such as C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Lua, Java, JavaScript.
  • Desired experience in 3D computer graphics and animation, AI/ML development, CADD/GIS and 3D graphics modeling capabilities, low-level 3D/VR libraries, GUI frameworks, AI/ML frameworks, OS scripting languages, working with multiple exchange formats, and working with version control systems.
