The role of a credit risk specialist involves analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of customers and counterparties to determine credit risk ratings and limits. To excel in this position, you will need experience in credit risk management, preferably in banking or fintech.
You should have knowledge of end-to-end credit operations and experience in credit risk analysis. Additionally, proficiency in Excel and SQL is essential, with Python programming skills being a plus.
Effective communication and collaboration are key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies.
Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with Chinese language skills being an advantage. The ability to work across time zones in an international setting is also essential.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain credit risk policies and procedures
- Create and implement collection policies to minimize losses
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify potential credit risks and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies

Requirements:
- Experience: Credit risk management experience in banking or fintech
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g. finance, economics, business)
