We connect trips, travelers, and itineraries across channels to enhance travel experiences.

As a Senior Backend Developer on our TripLink team, you will be part of a cloud-based travel ecosystem used by millions of people around the globe. We are revitalizing our code base with cloud-first concepts and technologies including containerization, serverless architecture, and increased use of NoSQL data stores.

The Role:
  • You will work collaboratively with fellow engineers to design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs using cloud-first concepts and technologies.
  • You will proactively identify ways to make the solution more robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • You will work closely with product owners and incorporate feedback from product management, interaction designers, and other engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) required.
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages: Typescript, Javascript, Kotlin, Java, Go, Scheme, C#, C++ or C.
  • Understanding of functional programming techniques as well as writing unit and integration tests should also be considered a normal part of writing code.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as REST, OAUTH2, SAML, GraphQL etc.
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and/or AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo, Code Deploy, etc is preferred.
