Job Description:- The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, strategist, and communicator with deep empathy for developers. This role combines practical engineering skills with diplomacy across organisational boundaries.
- This discipline requires problem-solvers who understand people's needs and love the way tools can be adapted to meet them.
- The developer experience engineer will work with colleagues in other teams to establish commonality and consistent approaches.
- A strong background in software development with a passion for open-source software.
- Practical hands-on experience of Linux software packaging (including Snaps, debs, charms, rocks, PIP, containers).
- Understanding of current software packing issues and trends in the Linux ecosystem.
- An engaging, vivacious speaker and presenter who can effectively communicate with diverse groups.
- Distributed work environment with opportunities to travel globally twice a year for company events.
- Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
