Technical Officer Job Summary
About the Role:We seek a highly skilled technical officer to provide support for programs and projects aimed at improving access to quality and affordable medicines and health technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with national authorities to implement our program of work for Medicines, Health Technologies, and Research.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and projects.
- Collaborate with national authorities to implement our program of work.
- Ensure access to and rational use of quality, safe, effective, and cost-effective medicines and health technologies.
- Oversee regulatory matters related to medicines and health technologies.
- Contribute to organization's representation in technical and political scenarios.
- Participate in policy development and strengthening.
- Support pharmaceutical policies, access to medicines, and clinical research.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field from recognized university.
- Five years of experience in regulation, medicines, and health technologies.
- Very good knowledge of Portuguese, with working knowledge of English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use current technology and software.
- Full-time position
- Based in Brasília, Brazil
