Job Description:
">- We're seeking a seasoned Data Privacy Compliance Manager to join our Global Privacy team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive key data protection initiatives across our global business, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and promoting a strong culture of handling personal data sensitively and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Support the Americas Data Privacy Officer in delivering the Privacy Team's global strategy by serving as the primary point of contact for LATAM businesses and monitoring legal and regulatory developments across the region.
- Serve as a Privacy expert for our Americas businesses, advising on all aspects of privacy, including performing Data Protection Impact Assessments, reviewing Data Protection Agreements/clauses, and supporting supplier due diligence.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Legal team to develop and strengthen precedents, playbooks, and processes to streamline the team's operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Previous experience within a compliance, legal, audit, or risk function with a solid focus in data protection matters.
- Demonstrable experience leading on a range of privacy projects and issues.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to take a pragmatic approach to legal risk and advise the business accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
