Language Expert QA Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Localization QA Analyst. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and cultural authenticity of our localized content.
You will be responsible for executing test plans on pre-release versions of our games, logging and tracking issues, and sometimes even providing direct fixes. Your mission is to safeguard the style, grammar, spelling, consistency, truncation, variable usage, and cultural appropriateness across all localized content.
Key Responsibilities:- Test localized builds for linguistic, functional, and visual accuracy
- Identify, log, and track issues in the bug database with clear reproduction steps
- Verify grammar, spelling, consistency, truncation, variable usage, and cultural appropriateness
- Provide correct translations to objective mistakes directly into CAT tools as necessary
- Collaborate with Localization Leads, QA teammates, and developers to ensure every detail shines
- Native fluency in Japanese
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with localization workflows and QA processes, including bug writing and defect tracking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Outlook
- Technical proficiency with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability
