Position Overview

As an Offshore Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of our operations team to meet objectives and ensure that drilling rig activities are executed in alignment with contractual obligations. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the regional operational strategy rather than overseeing the daily tasks of crew members. Your responsibilities will include executing Noble Corporation's drilling and core business operations in a manner that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, while also addressing our clients' requirements for designated assets. Consistent delivery of top-tier performance is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in OMDP or a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
  • A college degree in any field or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Ability to foster a culture where safety is regarded as a core value.
  • Solid understanding of general drilling systems pertinent to offshore operations.
  • Familiarity with HSE practices relevant to the company and the broader industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities that contribute to a collaborative organizational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to engage effectively with diverse groups and operational contexts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing effective and efficient well execution strategies while ensuring that rig crews are adequately inspecting, maintaining, and operating assigned drilling rigs.
  • Support the tracking and maintenance of the Noble Maintenance Program on each assigned rig.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Budget and cost management processes.
  • Encourage continuous improvement principles through monitoring P2R processes.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with team members both onshore and offshore.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Participate in mandatory and recommended training programs.
  • Provide assistance to both onshore and offshore personnel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Noble's HSE Management System.
  • Support Operations Management with all rig-related processes.
  • Facilitate integrated processes across multiple departments.
  • Assist in tracking KPIs and aligning goals within the Regions.
  • Contribute to all project management activities within the Regions.
  • Play a vital leadership role within the Regions.
  • Assist with the establishment of operations in new countries as required.
  • Participate in global auditing processes.
  • Support the delivery of offshore drilling services, including HSE performance, operational and maintenance tasks of assigned drilling units, and the execution of all related ancillary operations and services.
  • Ensure the application of Noble Drilling policies and procedures to foster effective work practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
  • Assist in the processing of the global MOC process.
  • Support the alignment of ECP policies.
  • Assist with the alignment of Global Drops programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
