Capital Markets Analyst Role

About the Opportunity

We seek seasoned analysts who can build a bench to support Corporate & Investment Banking and Investment Research lines of business. As a Capital Markets Analyst at Evalueserve, you'll collaborate with a global market research team specializing in research and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of news, financial data, and company presentations for companies under review. Participate in earnings calls and investor relations conferences.
  • Analyze strengths and weaknesses of companies based on industry, business, and financial risk. Develop and maintain Microsoft Excel-based financial models, including forecasting and benchmarking companies on financial and operating metrics.
  • Conduct extensive company valuation using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and market-based valuation using multiples. Update financial models and client databases regularly, including during earnings season.
  • Compose financial reports and presentations in English.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience in areas such as credit/equity research or investment banking advisory/private equity. A graduate degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent is required. Desirable: CFA Level 1 or master's in finance. Experience in technology companies is also desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills for financial modeling and quantitative data analysis (working with Excel). Very good level of Excel proficiency is necessary, with VBA/programming not required. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based multicultural environment.
