About the Team

The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Regional Go-to-Market (RGTM) team collaborates with the Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS) organization to advocate for and facilitate the adoption of the ALM product suite among clients, partners, and internal teams. We are integrated within the Customer Service and Delivery board area.

The ALM suite encompasses products such as SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run, and SAP Solution Manager.

Role Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Regional Lead to join our regional go-to-market team for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). This position focuses on assisting clients, partners, and colleagues with ALM products, primarily SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run, as well as transitioning from SAP Solution Manager. The ideal candidate will engage with key stakeholders, develop product rollout strategies, act as a trusted advisor, manage escalations, and exhibit profound expertise in the ALM domain. You will represent stakeholder interests, take ownership of regional adoption objectives, and guide clients/partners/colleagues with extensive technical knowledge. Additionally, you should be prepared for one-on-one interactions with customers and partners, thrive in a technical environment, and be open to presenting at conferences and other events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as a SME for ALM products, rapidly acquiring and deepening knowledge in specific product areas. Conduct hands-on demonstrations and showcase expertise, particularly in SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run. Guide customers and partners through the transition from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Expertise Sessions: Facilitate comprehensive training and knowledge-sharing sessions for clients, partners, and colleagues to enhance their understanding and use of ALM products.
  • Adoption Facilitation: Propel the accelerated adoption of the ALM suite by offering extensive support and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate in the development of go-to-market strategies, including crafting target customer lists and ideal customer profiles tailored to the region.
  • Customer Insights: Grasp region-specific customer requirements, drive portfolio field enablement, and cultivate strong customer relationships to generate success stories and references.
  • Strategic Engagements: Provide techno-functional guidance and support during strategic customer and partner interactions to ensure successful implementations and satisfaction.
  • Communication and Training: Assist in delivering communications, events, training sessions, and other initiatives to promote ALM products and their advantages.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Degree in technology or business-related fields;

Technical Expertise (mandatory): Profound knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Focused Run is essential.

Customer and Communication Skills:

  • Experience in managing cloud-based customer relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven skills in customer engagement.
  • Experience working with clients across the region.

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in conceptualizing, organizing, and managing large-scale customer events is advantageous.
  • Background in digital marketing and campaign management is desirable.
  • Candidates with experience in Product Owner roles or customer-facing positions will be favored.
