Product Development Lead

The role of the Product Development Lead is pivotal in shaping the design and development of products, solutions, and systems. This encompasses activities related to the technical enhancement of existing products and components.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership
  • Conducts product and component integration, ensuring optimal performance and operability.
  • Manages product requirements, specifications, and flow-down to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system.
  • Ensures effective interface between components and cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for driving Risk & Opportunities within teams designing components.
  • Leverages expertise to develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • Provides guidance to junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Significant experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency in EBOP Hydro Power Plant Design with knowledge of all EBOP packages.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Customer focus and commitment to on-time delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Autocad, ETAP, system studies, and protection settings.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
