Job Title: Project Quality Manager

Description:

The Project Quality Manager will oversee the quality assurance and control activities, identify potential quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review quality requirements, identify quality risks, and define mitigation plans
  • Assess quality assurance and control requirements and detect deviations
  • Support tendering managers on estimating resources needed for the project quality
  • Prepare project quality plans and documents as required by the customer
  • Review quality tender specifications qualification
  • Participate in tenders and project kick-offs, and review governance when necessary
  • Coordinate creation, completion, and approval of quality documentation
  • Monitor performance metrics to track quality performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct internal assessments, inspections, and audits to assess compliance with project quality standards
  • Coordinate correction and prevention actions for project non-conformities, lead communication, and problem-solving with customers
  • Identify areas for improvement and coordinate corrective and preventive actions for project quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with existing quality and customer satisfaction processes and train team members on quality processes and procedures
  • Lead customer interviews during project execution, collect regular feedback, and build an action plan to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide expertise, guidance, and support to project teams on quality-related matters
  • Contribute to developing, implementing, and improving quality assurance and control processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and capability to obtain buy-in
  • Demonstrate leadership and collaboration abilities in complex cross-functional environments
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Leadership and conflict management abilities to guide and motivate project teams
  • High attention to detail to ensure thorough quality assessments and documentation
  • Ability to execute on challenging time constraints, prioritize tasks, and manage indirect resources
  • Experience in quality management roles and customer experience
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification (good to have)
  • Quality Management (e.g., ISO standards) (good to have)
  • Technical and functional skills in QMS, quality control, and assurance principles and methodologies
