Job Description:

Majid Al Futtaim is a leading retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, serving over 560 million visitors annually.

The primary objective of this role is to implement quality standards that attract customers and achieve set sales targets. This responsibility entails ensuring exceptional customer service within the section.

  • Commercial Excellence
    • Develop and execute store strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to promote discount offerings.
    • Establish a competitive assortment offer.
    • Monitor competitor activities and take necessary measures.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Oversee commercial policy agreed for store pricing.
    • Ensure proper conservation and utilization of department assets.
    • Manage product assortment in the section.
    • Support comparative studies to enhance commercial concepts.
  • Inventory Management
    • Provide inputs on price image and freshness image.
    • Ensure proper stock management, including value control and orders delivery.
    • Implement initiatives to minimize waste and shrinkage ratio.
    • Control orders and follow up on deliveries.
    • Manage display of new products while maintaining Plano-gram.
    • Assess merchandisers' attendance and performance.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Enforce safety, health, and security rules according to internal standards and external regulations.
    • Implement security and hygiene procedures for assets and employees.
    • Ensure team delivers excellent customer service when answering questions and promoting sales.
    • Apply and follow company's 'Know-How.'
    • Attend to customers and offer solutions.
    • Manage displays, ensuring correct pricing at all times.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
  • Minimum 2 years in Retail Business, 1 year in an operations supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, customer service, and time management skills.
