Identity Management Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in developing and modernizing identity management solutions for authentication and authorization. As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and enhancements from spec to production and ongoing operations at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience building identity and access management products, specifically with open source software, standards, protocols, and concepts in the identity space. Familiarity with authorization frameworks in distributed systems is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement New Features: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements that meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate Proactively: Collaborate with a distributed team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products and services.
  • Write Clean APIs: Develop clean and efficient web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients using Go and optionally Python.

In this role, you will help write Juju charms to manage operational concerns and contribute to the modernization and expansion of identity management solutions. Technical excellence and a background in software engineering are prerequisites for this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Identity Management: Strong experience building identity and access management products, specifically with open source software, standards, protocols, and concepts in the identity space.
  • Authorization Frameworks: Experience implementing authorization frameworks in distributed systems is required.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Go and Python programming languages is necessary.
